VODACOM: I Paid To Escape Your ****s, Now You’re Double-Billing Me!
For months, Vodacom allowed ******* "Purchased Content" to be billed to my account. I never used these services and never opted in, but Vodacom refused to stop the theft. I was forced to pay a Premature Cancellation fee of R638.44 just to stop the bleeding.
On 2 December 2025, Vodacom issued a Final Settlement Quote. Section A specifically charged me for the "Balance of Contract" (2 months remaining). This means I pre-paid for December and January in that lump sum. The quote showed R0.00 Outstanding Balance.
I paid in full on 8 December, and the line was converted to prepaid. But now, Vodacom is trying to "****" me again, claiming I owe a January bill and handing me over to VVM Debt Collectors.
This is *****. I have already paid for the "Balance of Contract" in my settlement. You cannot charge me for January twice. You failed to protect me from content ****s, and now you are failing to honor your own settlement quote.
I demand:
An immediate recall of the VVM handover.
A Zero Balance Letter confirming the account is closed.
Confirmation that all "Content Services" are permanently deleted.
