Vodacom huawei p9 software update issues

Ref: Job Number ********** 6

I got my phone on contract late last year. The phone popped a Software Message update and a day later it stopped working. I couldnt switch it on. It kept on restarting itself everytime I tried to switch it on. I took it to Vodacom (Heidelberg) to look at it, They boioked it in or repairs under "Warranty". I kept getting messages aboout the repair progress until last week Thursday. When I called Vodacom repairs today, they told me I need to pay about R2500 to replace the handset due to "scratches" that were found on the phone. They said the scratches invalidate the warranty even if the issue is with the software. The lady was very rude on the phone when I wanted to escalate the matter to her maanager. She told me I cannot escalate any further since she makes the decisions. Her name is Thabo Murovai (Thats what she said). I have been a loyal customer and the call centre agents were very rude.
