Vodacom holding our Fibre line up for 30 days after cancellation.

I sent a cancellation request to Vodacom on the 11th of November and received reference SR***. At exactly 00:00 on the 1st of December our service was cut as expected.

Shortly thereafter I received a reference for a new sales order SO*** for a 50mbps line. I called Vodacom this morning just after 8am and the agent advised me it was done in error and he will be cancelling it, he supp**** me reference SR*** for the call.

I then followed up with the new service provider, VOX, as to when they will be connecting us and was advised that Vodacom has not yet released the line.

I phoned Vodacom again this afternoon and the lady I spoke to advised me that my line was cancelled and it will take up to 30 days for them to release it. This is ridiculous as we cannot be expected to be without a fibre network for 30 days due to Vodacom holding us up.

Vodacom, please release my line so I may cut ties with you for good!!!
