Vodacom holding me hostage

Over month later, Vodacom wont let me use another ISP to provide me with Fiber, holding me hostage for no reason.

I have thus far spoken to over 20 different people and supervisors, and it has become apparent that they are just intent on making my life hell, just because I decided I would not proceed to use them as an ISP as soon as I realised that they had **** about LTE first and were taking their time providing the service I requested. Since the 13th November, a process that was meant to take 48 hrs has taken 3 weeks and still going on.

I now essentially have to move out of the premises to get internet somewhere else, as the Vumatel Fiber installed over a year ago will remain, but seeing Vodacom wont allow any other ISP to service me, just because they can, and are literally holding me hostage for no reason. I have no choice...

I advice anyone to firstly stay away from Vodacom Fiber, they promise lies about how you will have free LTE for a month while waiting for installation, I app**** on 30th October and it was made clear to me within the first week of November, that there is no such a thing. That its a marketing thing, and quickly decided I wanted out and cancelled the order on 13th November, cause they had failed to even deliver a router. I called Afrihost, app**** and got a router delivered within 32 days.

Their call centre and general customer service is appalling, managers and everyone just give you the run around of a life. I have spend over 15hrs on the phone trying to get this sorted in the last 3 weeks, Afrihost and even Vumatel are professional and get things done, dealing with them on the phone was a breeze. Vunmatel is also appalled at how I have been held hostage by this company who cant deliver the services I had ordered from them, but wont let anyone else service me.

Now I have to go to the ombudsman.
