VODACOM holding clients hostage, refuses to cancel an expired contract.

MY mother has been struggling to cancel a VODACOM contract she took for my sister who was using it for study. The contract ended in January and Vodacom keeps sending the old lady from pillar to post. She can not articulate in English, and no one wants to speak to my sister whom the account was opened for. We feel held hostage as we now received an SMS "thanking' us for extending the contract till 2024.

I understand times are hard on everyone, but holding clients hostage is a big NO. Can Vodacom please sort this out fast, the poor woman is going on pension next month and illicit Debit orders are the last thing she needs at this stage.

Reviewer Update
Good day,

I am writing this to inform you that since last contact; we agreed that the last debit order amount of R80.00 will be debited from my mother's account in August. She just called informing me that this month Vodacom outdid themselves as they debited a whooping R300.00.

Can someone have a look at this and please revert back?
