Vodacom HEMINGWAYS - What a waste of space!!! Terrible "service"
Vodacom Hemingway's!!!! A shock that this store is still open! TERRIBLE service!!! NEVER have the phones in store as advertised. WAIT & WAIT & WAIT for them to "order"... get told tat they have arrived - get to the store and the INCORRECT phones arrived. After MULTIPLE communications both telephonically & electronically via email advising the agent Babalo what it is EXACTLY what we want & require, the order STILL gets messed up!!! A total amount of around 10 hours have been spent in the past week or so trying to finalise and get these agents to understand but to no avail!!! Rather just say what they need to at the time to keep the peace and string us along. After advising this agent in person & email what we wanted and which contracts we wanted, we arrived in the store to collect as requested because" your order has arrived and everything is processed" WHAT A SHOCKER... not only had he processed the one phone on the incorrect contract deal, the other contract deal had not arrived after been told that It had! Due to this negligence I then had to go to ANOTHER branch and get assistance as they were the ONLY branch at the time to have the colour I wanted in this specific model... 3 hours later - I was told that the original contract is still pending on the system (which has now caused even more delay) - even though we had received the phone and signed all documents etc for the first contract. After all of this back & forth, here I am STILL without a phone and have to wait another 3 days!! Whats going to get done? NOTHING? sweet nothing - as per usual. Possibly a little automated apology from Vodacom and then be forgotten about... what has happened to service delivery in South Africa??? What happened to going the extra mile or offering your clients alternative options. explain to your client what the deal consists of, explain what the process is and what the possible implications could be, don't just say what you THINK is correct and assume things... Seriously, the word Vodacom just gets my cringing every time!
