Vodacom held me ransom with my prepaid number that was **********ly ported to their network.

Vodacom held me ransom with my prepaid number that was **********ly ported to their network. On the 20th of January I had realised that my MTN number had no signal. I then contacted MTN customer care and was informed that my number was ported to Vodacom and they will attempted to reverse the porting but failed. I then called the Vodacom customer care to inform them of the matter and asked them to suspend the line as all my OTP's were going to that number but they had told me they can't entirely bar the line for whatever reason. I then took it upon myself to visit Vodaworld on the 23rd of January and dealt with Tshepo Ngakane who requested that I get an affidavit and copy of my ID so the matter could be escalated to their forensics department. I got all the docs as requested and it took Vodacom 17 days to reverse the porting back to MTN. In that period the ********* managed to spend 40K on my RCS account and also attempted to access my FNB and Tyme bank accounts. If only Vodacom took such matter seriously I would not have been in such a mess. There was no communication whatsoever from Tshepo Ngakane @ Vodacom to inform me of the progress or any action taken to avoid the frausdsters from using my number.

I don't understand why it took Vodacom so long to resolve this matter whereas MTN only took a few hours to resolve my sim card after the porting was reversed by Vodacom. I feel that this was well orchestrated by Vodacom and the **********
