Vodacom head of call centre won't help a desperately ill dying man with a potential *****

My dad who is 87 years old and has been hospitalised in serious heart failure received a message on his phone from Vodacom on his MTN phone Stating the following: - your quotation has been processed. use the following order number when contacting Vodacom etc etc. I urgently call the Vodacom call centre alerting them to the fact that I suspect there is ***** taking place using my dads details and ask to speak to someone in the ***** division but unfortunately Vodacom ***** division only keeps office hours unlike the ****** outside and inside vodacom. I then ask them to check the order number and get told that they can only check it if I give my dads id number which I did not have immediately on hand. They said sorry I will have to call the sales division which is only open tomorrow. At this stage I am so irate that I am screaming at the top of my voice and eventually get to speak to Ismael Ncube who claimed to be the most senior person in the call centre. He suddenly is able to check the order number on his system (so the first agent **** to me) but then proceeds to confirm that there has been activity and a purchase made but the only way he can help me is if my dying dad calls him!!!!!! I explain that my dad is seriously ill and cannot call him and he proceeds without even the slightest concern for my dads wellbeing that I must drive to the hospital and get him to sign an affidavit to stop the person processing the order. So Vodacom allows someone to **********ly use my dads details to place and order and then insists that despite my dads grave ill health that he is the only person who can stop the activity taking place. What a clever little Vodacom scheme it is isn't it!!! What an utterly despicable human being your head of call centre is and what a desperately arrogant and offensive company you are!! Ismael refused to assist or give me the contact details of someone who can help! I urge anyone who has an elderly parent to switch to another service provider asap as they do not care for anything other than collecting money. To be totally fair I was shouting, swearing and abusive but who wouldn't be when they get told that their dying dad should report for duty at the instruction of Vodacom. You should be totally ashamed as a company and I will make it my life long business to fight your despicable company!
