Vodacom has the WORST service delivery, fails to resolve query for the 4th time

On 1st February 2017, I called the Vodacom contact centre and was offered a new contract which i agreed to. The contract was never enforced, despite me calling the contact centre several times thereafter, begging consultants to listen to the call on 1st February. For all the queries logged, I received an SMS saying my query had been closed. NO RESOLUTION. It took me logging a complaint on Hello Peter last week for someone to finally listen to the call made on 1st February. The agent who made the error called me apologising and i duly accepted the apology however the individual who called me initially to speak about the Hello Peter entry has not called me again. No process of correcting my account has been discussed, no call received to discuss how Vodacom will reimburse me for the past 6 months due to their FAILURE to listen to my call and correct my account. I've even commented on my old Hello Peter post saying that Vodacom has still NOT corrected anything and once again debited the same INCORRECT AMOUNT. Guess what, they don't even take note of your comments. The individual dealing with my query is also meant to look into another query where Vodacom was debiting me for 2gigs of data since LAST YEAR and this was only removed on the 1st Feb but NOT CORRECTED. I'll have you know this query was also logged MORE THAN 6 MONTHS AGO and NO ONE has taken the time to contact me to correct this error.

To Vodacom - in a suffering economy where people can no longer afford the same level of luxury/goods as they previously could, the one and only solution to retain clients is to provide a simple service delivery which you are failing to provide to the mass of the people in SA. You unfortunately have what seems like a telecommunications monopoly due to the number of towers and resulting coverage over SA however I plea to MTN to see this gap (SERVICE GAP) and to create even greater competition for your business. I feel that a financial loss to your company is the only way you will start taking your complaints seriously. I am certain I'm not the only one. When someone will pay R50 to supercharge their complaint in a "suffering economy" and having incurred a financial loss from your company already, then you should open your eyes and realise you've lost a client. Goodbye Vodacom, Hello MTN.
