VODACOM HAS POOR SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE!!!
I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for years. I have several contracts with them. But now I remain highly disappointed and disgruntled. For a few months now, I have been experiencing pathetic signal issues in my residential area. And this is based on three different phones as well as a Wi-Fi router, each with a Vodacom SIM. It is so bad that we actually switched our settings from 4G to 3G. However, despite this, the signal is slow or almost non-existent, most of the time being reduced to 'Edge (E)'. Simple things like Facebook posts and emails do not load without me constantly switching my airplane mode on and off. There are often times where my signal goes completely off for periods at a time, saying 'No Service'. Mind you, I do not live in an outlying area. I live in an established residential area. It is fair to say that I definitely deserve what I pay for!!!!!!!!!!There is no point in paying an excessive amount of money and not getting your money's worth.
To make matters worse, I had laid a complaint on 8 December 2020. TO THIS DAY, it has not been resolved and nobody has contacted me to update me on proceedings (if there were any). They had said there was a turnaround time of 1-24 working hours. One month later, NOTHING has been resolved. So I phoned again today (4 January 2021) and the technician said she is not sure why the service ticket has been closed but NOT RESOLVED!!!! But she will leave a message for them to get back to me. The department is not taking calls hence I cannot speak to someone directly. Am I supposed to wait another month? Yet, my debit order will go off soon, and I will be paying for something that is not worth it!!! I am literally paying for contracts of which I am unable to use half of the time due to no fault of my own. So why do I have to pay full price?
Yes, I know we are in a pandemic, yet a simple courtesy call, email or message to update me on proceedings will be highly appreciated! I am sick of this now. Vodacom, sort out your service and your customer care!!!!!!!

Furthermore, please look on your official Facebook page and see the number of people complaining about the same thing from my area (South Coast of KZN). I am not the only dissatisfied customer.
My patience is wearing very thin. Very thin. A simple ‘We are working on your problem’ is better than nothing. Something needs to be done.
