Vodacom has no ethics nor loyalty towards customers due to *****ulent advertising
A Vodacom Agent - Rewards Pro contacted us stating that as we are a Red Customer (10 years +), we qualify for certain discounts and promotions. They promised do a refund on a modem which was ****** (back dated), to reduce the main line subscription from R1750.00 to R899.00pm and send us an HP Pavillion 15 I7 laptop, all free of charge. We asked what the catch was and the consultant said Vodacom would like to keep us as a valued customer for another 20 years. Well, we were in for a surprise when our Bill came. No discounts were allocated as promised and we ended up being billed for all the "promotions" offered. We have since phoned them on numerous occasions, we have e-mailed, we have contacted their ***** department and their ethics department. The feedback is that they have listened to the recording and found no foul-play. We managed to get the recording (this was a mission as they don't send it to you). We have had various Vodacom personnel listen to the recording and they have indicated that their is definitely foul-play. All they can do is escalate the matter, but nothing is resolved. Everyone in every department from Rewards Pro through to Vodacom themselves, are trying to shy away from their promises made. As a Red Customer of more than 10-years with various contracts with Vodacom, we VERY STRONGLY feel that Vodacom is the worst possible Network Supplier as they have no accountability, ethics or loyalty towards their customers. We will not be paying our bills until this is resolved, whether in court or not.
