Vodacom has given my details to debt collectors for an account I was never responsible for paying

Vodacom has handed over my details to yet another debt collector following continued harassment by MBD for a business account that I had a number on more than 10 years ago and for which I was never responsible. I laid a complaint against MBD here on Hello Peter and thankfully they stopped contacting me. However it seems I should have targeted my complaint at Vodacom directly because now I am receiving fresh harassment from 'Hammond Pole Attorneys' (and I will issue a complaint with them as well!).

The account in question is connected to a closed corporation that I was employed by and left more than 10 years ago now. The company continued to do business after I stopped working there and was then acquired some time later, so no longer exists in its original form. I was not personally responsible for paying any business accounts during my time with the company and am certainly not responsible for any outstanding accounts that were generated after my time of employment there. The mere fact that you have somehow found a connection between me and this company is not grounds for me to have to pay their outstanding bills and I will not do this. I have been ignoring your attempts to get me to pay you money that I do not owe you and will continue to do so indefinitely should you continue to persist, but you are unduly harassing me and I politely request that you stop doing this. I can not stress firmly enough that this account is not my responsibility and you will never receive any money from me in connection with this matter.

Please Vodacom would you kindly stop passing my details on to debt collectors for accounts that I was not responsible for paying!!!!
