Vodacom has either been hacked & Client data has been compromised or you are just inept or maybe it's what to expect from Vodacom - Lack of professionalism
******** - ******ION - ***** - ICASA MUST ACT ASAP ON VODACOM'S BILLING
I have a Vodacom contract for R170 p/m (Airtime only) and have only kept it because I've been using the number for years. During the month I'll use the airtime advance service and recharge the same month to settle whatsoever debt incurred (Always taken from the recharge value & sms confirmation sent by Vodacom to confirm receipt of funds to settle airtime advance debt).
I make a direct EFT payment of R200 p/m for this contract - my airtime advance limit is R300 - my monthly average recharge is R500. Today I received a call from Vodacom Collections Department to advise that I owe an amount of R600, upon querying how I can owe R600 whereas my contract is R170 p/m, pay R200 p/m & not in arrears for payment - to my amazement, the Consultant advised that I owe for my airtime advance?!? When asking the Consultant how that could be, she became abrupt and couldn't respond to the question... She requested that I call the Customer Care Department to query why or how I can owe or be billed on my contract for airtime advance... I found this ridiculous and requested that she gather the facts related to what she claimed I owe only to be placed on hold until... When I tried to call back the number, there was no record of the the call or number that called me and the statement sent looks very suspicious...
The Consultants name is 'Nokwanda' - She did not call back and I'm not sure if this could be a **** or just the lack of professionalism that 1 can only expect from Vodacom...
