Vodacom harassment after **********ly debiting my bank account post MNP process

Dear Shamiel and the Vodacom Executive team

In December 2017 - I ported my MSISDN from Vodacom to Telkom. At 07:07 on the 13th December 2017 - when the MNP process was complete; I called the Vodacom call centre to confirm the termination of my contract with VC. The agent was unable to locate any trace of such a number / contract on the system. Please pull the call.

At the end of January 2018 ; I noticed that VODACOM CONTINUED TO **********LY and *********LY DEBIT MY BANK ACCOUNT. I then instructed my banker to stop the debit order.

Vodacom sent me an invoice on 10 May 2018 - your organization was STILL billing me. I then PHYSICALLY went to the Vodacom service center at Cavendish, Cape Town - to address this issue and ensure that this contract is cancelled. The Cavendish service center agent too could not trace any record of my number on the system.

I then emailed ********** on the 12 May 2018 - requesting that this issue be resolved. Please see screen-grab of the correspondence attached. No feedback or response was received.

I have recently started receiving harassing phone calls and text messages from your collections department. No matter how slowly and plainly I explain this entire scenario to your team - they do not seem to comprehend. Furthermore and more alarming is that my excellent name and credit score is now being tarnished by and *********** team underpinned by inefficient and disparate business processes and systems on your end.

Shamiel - as promised in my email - I have laid a complaint with ICASA and am posting this matter to social media and hellopeter - as that seems to be the only channel that vodacom responds to.

Please address - and make 100% sure that my credit record and name remain untouched whilst your team cleans up this mess.
