Vodacom happy to cancel my contract

I have done an upgrade on my line on the 26/09/2018 with Moosa in the retentions department. 5 days later 01/10/2018, Ram couriers pitches up with out notifying me and does not want to give me my phones as I did not have my ID book on hand. I called Moosa back on the same day and told him what had happened and he told me that they have regular issues like that with Ram couriers. He then told me that he would arrange for the delivery for me the next day which was supposed to be the 02/10/2018. I still did not receive the phone by the 04/10/2018, When I called Moosa he investigated and told me that Ram couriers did not put the notes on their system as per his discussion and he will only be able for the phone to be delivered the following week meaning I must wait another 6 days for a phone that is already 3 days late. I asked if he could arrange for next day delivery and he said he could not. I asked to speak to his manager but he told me that I have to speak to his supervisor as per the chain of command. I spoke to Prakash Shuping who was no help and more than willing to cancel my contract with Vodacom rather than assisting me with getting my phone the next day. I was really surprised that being a customer of Vodacom for 15 years and looking to sign a contract of R600 a month meant nothing to Moosa and Prakash. I asked to speak to someone more senior than Prakash and he claimed that he is the most senior person there and there is no one else that I can speak to and I must send an email to a complaints department. If everyone covers up everones mess at Vodacom, I saw it pointless to send a mail. It seems to me that Moosa messed up on my delivery and is blaming the courier and if they have to request an overnight delivery, the courier will charge them which they will rather cancel my contract than absorb the cost to cover their mess up. I worked in the industry and I know what I am talking about. It doesn't seem that Vodacom values their customers anymore and now my contract is set to be migrated to prepaid.

Dear Vodacom Consumer Website Team, Thank you for your call. As per our discussion, there is still nothing you can do to get my phone to me sooner to keep me as a customer and you want me to wait another week when you can clearly see on your system notes that the mess up is with the courier but instead of holding the courier accountable you tell me that the customer will have to pay for an overnight delivery. So it is obvious that Vodacom does not value a customer that has been with them for 15 years.
