Vodacom Handset

My iPhone 6 handset was misplaced and blacklisted, but subsequently found and Vodacom unblacklisted it. The phone worked for a while but now wont pick up Vodacom signal at all, out of the blue. The rest of the device functions and apps work fine over wifi. Its only your Vodacom signal that it does not pick up.

iStore and Vodacom technical staff in 2 different stores have put in other SIM cards into the handset and it picks up Vodacom, MTN etc. Only my SIM on ********** 644 will not work.

I was in Mozambique recently and all of a sudden on arrival in Maputo the device picked up mobile signal again and I received the Vodacom travel saver text messages came through and my roaming was on. Get back to SA waters and the same problem. Must be the blacklisting process then!?

Please explain?? It can only have something to do with the unblacklisting not working properly on your side. The phone works 100% with other SIM cards, regardless of service provider SIM in the device.

IMEI is ********** ********** 5
