Vodacom greed is preying on pensioner

Having been a Vodacom customer since 1994, it seems Vodacom has forgotten how much ARPU I have given this network since 1994 until a few months ago. Hundreds of thousands of rands of utilized service.

Now that I am a struggling pensioner, it seems that Vodacom is still greedy to take more through ********* means. My business is not doing well and I have struggled to pay my monthly contract. As a result Vodacom has suspended my mobile number. With mobile account number suspended, that obviously means that the mobile number CANNOT be used. Subsequently, Vodacom billing systems are not able to generate billing records for an account that is not utilized, except for generating a MONTHLY subscription amount and possibly mobile device insurance where it is in effect.

How is it possible that a suspended account is almost doubling in amount owing each month when no usage is done? How is it possible for a suspended account to grow at R4000 pm when the subscription is less than R1000 pm?

I want to pay the original R1700 outstanding plus the outstanding monthly subscription fee and not the R4000 pm of thumb suck figure. If I could afford a R4000 pm subscription I would have upgraded to that. It is clear that I cannot afford this. Please fix this matter so we settle and move on. I am a pensioner with struggling income now.
