Vodacom giving out contracts in our names, and harassing me for the account being in arrears
Vodacom started harassing me with phone calls from their “legal department”, and immediately demanding I give them my personal details, once I refuse since I can’t confirm who they are, they give me so much attitude. After three weeks of this, I went to a local store, who confirmed that indeed an account has been opened in my name, and has not been paid since it was opened and the contract and phone issued to whoever. There was no I.d copy attached or 3 months bank statement, and the account was apparently opened online, the address is obviously wrong.
But with all that said, a contract was issued in my name. I went to the police station to make an affidavit, and opened a ***** case with Vodacom. It is apparently under investigation.
But I still keep getting calls from the so called “legal team” since my account is in arrears.
Why they aren’t badgering the number they issued out,or number they used to register this so called contract baffles me.
First of all I have never and will never have an account with Vodacom, and secondly I am appalled by the “training” of your staff. Zero decorum, and their level of attitude is beyond me. I don’t even want to touch on their level of training/qualification or is it just complacency?
If I could rate Vodacom below 1, I truly would.
