Vodacom giving me a recent number ***

Good day, My complaint is with vodacom I opened a new contract and the number I received has been recycled. I can understand using the recycling of the number, but believe it should be after a few years after the person left the contracted or prepaid number. The problem I am having is unknown / private calls keep coming through on my new number. The calls are from private people and companies Just this morning a freight company phoned to say they are outside. My time is valuable and I have to keep answering and say wrong no. Next the sms's I receive are also serious, a cash send was sent to me frfrom Discovery bank and arrears for Motjididi Letso from vodacom, to name a few. This also makes me think my number is at risk from phishes. I called vodacom and they do not take no responsibilty, I have just recived and answer we do recycle the numbers. I am really frustrated with vodacom.
