Vodacom give us freedom after cancelling our contracts

To whom it may concern

Last year after struggling with your network provider, I managed to cancel both my contracts and had no outstanding bill and my numbers successfully moved to pay as you go. To my surprise I received calls from lawyers saying I owe Vodacom an amount of R700.00. How does one actually get rid of a Vodacom contract, is it forced onto you. I was relieved when my long term relationship with the network provider came to an end as I had, had my fair share of *********** staff and service. The endless calls to Vodacom were enough and just upset that I have to go that route again for a R700 . I don't have a contract with Vodacom , I do not have a outstanding balance , can this be rectified once and for all. It seems you only get a reaction or assistance from Vodacom when you logged a complaint with Hello Peter. Am sure Vodacom can do better than milking people for money . The two numbers which were on contract are *** and *** and they were both successfully moved to Prepaid in 2021. So what is the really issue ?
