Vodacom gave my number to Cellphone pirest

I received my usual monthly deduction from Vodacom with a shock. The amount were much more inflated than usual.<br> <br> I than went to the nearest outlet and requested that they assist me with the matter. They informed me that they would launch a investigation and give me feedback on the matter.<br> <br> I were informed by Vodacom via sms that the inflated amount on my account is due to me entering various competitions via sms and that I'm liable for the full account. The sms amount varies between R26 and R4,30.<br> <br> The assistant in the Vodacom centre than blocked the ******** use of my number and since than no further entering into any competitions have occurred yet.<br> <br> I have requested that Vodacom check my years long track record with them to see if ever before I have entered any competitions or use my sms facility for anything else than communicating with family and friends. they declined and informed me that I am liable for the sms account.<br> <br> The utter Big Comp attitude and stance that Vodacom have taken frustrates me and I am degusted that Vodacom are allowing ******s onto their system to rob their customers.<br> <br> Tomorrow I'll start the search for a new service provider.
