Vodacom friend or foe?
I have been with Vodacom for years (for Business accounts) and always received excellent service. So when AutoPage went bang I thought it a good idea to go with my trusted service provider Vodacom (for private account). I started with just a normal cellular account and worked to an additional data contract. And this is where the trouble started. When it came to renewal/upgrading the data, naturally I said yes. Now I have an additional data contract which I have been paying for almost 2 years now and am battling to stop it. I have been actively pursuing this and I have the sms's and e-mails to prove it. However, I am being fogged off from one person to the next and no one knows how to help me. Adding it up, over 24 months, I will have paid R7500.00 for something I already have. In fact, I AM paying for 2 data contracts, one of which is non-existent!!! I think it is a disgrace and terrible service. After all the good they have done ..................... come on Vodacom just do what must be done.
