Vodacom - ********** upgrade unresolved for 9 months

I wanted to upgrade January 2018 and then was told an upgrade was already done. When I requested information on who and where and how the upgrade was done on my name the store could not assist. Then after numerous e-mails and phone calls , visits to the store and a statement / affidavit I still have no feedback. The store personnel always was friendly and tried to help, but they can also only do so much. Then suddenly I received an sms that the matter was resolved. NO it was not. Calling the Vodacom ***** line is fruitless. Even the store does not get through. Eventually in February 2018 the store forwarded the e-mail from Vodacom that: "Customer uncontactable: Upgrade was done at Vodaworld, Customer needs to send docs for investigation". And that I have to go back to Vodaworld to do a cancellation - Where is Vodaworld and in which town? They don't know. So what do I do now - Just bring in the documents for the investigation. Which I did and the shop sent it away. They took all my contact details and promised that someone will call me. Never happened. In the meantime I stopped paying since the contract had run out - i did not do any upgrade - and I cannot keep on phoning or e-mailing without getting any reaction. That was somewhere around June 2018. Now yesterday i get an sms notice that my account is in arrears and they will now suspend my service - Note I stopped receiving airtime/data - which in my mind means the contract expired after the initial 2 years and since I did no upgrade I keep on using the number on prepaid. This morning a very *********** call centre person phones - I requested that he speaks to my daughter since I cannot hear very well (I am 70 years old). I previously signed a document at Vodacom, giving my daughter permission to handle my affairs due to this fact. Then he says he needs to find out from his Supervisor if he is allowed to speak to her and will call back. Also never happened. Funny now they cannot speak to her, but other people can upgrade on my name??? I need Vodacom to get this matter resolved. Take the ********** upgrade of my name and stop the contract! I no longer want to upgrade, I just would like to keep on using my number on prepaid.
