Vodacom ********** Upgrade

On the 7th of May, I received my Vodacom statement and saw that I was overcharged with an amount of R1200. After a lot of phone calls and a couple of days later, I was informed that an ******* upgrade was done on my account and all likelihood is pointing to the fact that it was done in-store. I was then advised to get an affidavit from the police station and send it to the *** I did this the same day, on the 12th of May 2019. I was furnished with two reference numbers: EC-1R4K-213OK1 and EC-1R4K-21BSPD and was informed that I would receive feedback in 7-14 working days. Was I in for a hell of a surprise. Fourteen days passed. I continued to phone every day. The consultant I would speak to would not know my situation and I have to explain the entire story over and over again. After about an hour they would inform you that you have to phone the ***** department to query your case. Well it turns out you can not phone the ***** department (this I found out after another 2 weeks of failed attempts) They have to phone you. All you can do is wait. The money was eventually deducted the end of May. I continued to phone everyday. One month passed and the end of June I was billed another R600 extra for the upgrade. I kept on phoning. At the end of July, another R600 went off for an upgrade I never authorized. Then end of July became the end of August and again another additional R600 was deducted. Today I received my statement for September and guess what? They are continuing deducting that money. For them it is nothing. They are a multi-billion Rand company. For me however, this is the difference between being able to afford my transport for the month to get to work and back. As one of the consultants told me when I was close to tears: "Sir, you are not the only one. These things happen ALOT! All you can do is wait. They will phone you back one day" I hope someone reads this that will be able to assist me, because as I am sitting here now, I don't even know where I am going to get money from to pay for my prescription medication. I should probably wait till I'm dead. At least then they will be rid of me.
