Vodacom - ********** service after Upgrade believing Vodacom phoned to find out a Rewards Company phoned.

Vodacom - ********** service after Upgrade believing Vodacom phoned to find out a Rewards Company phoned.

TO DATE STILL NO COPY OF VOICE RECORDINGS AS REQUESTED ON THE 5TH MARCH!!

TO DATE NOT BACK ON OLD PACKAGE AS UPGRADE CANCELLED!!!!

A lady phoned me which I thought was Vodacom to upgrade my packages towards the end of February.

Only when I picked up issues with the upgrade did I find out that I did not speaking to Vodacom but a Rewards Company. There I believe is a huge problem as I was **********ly led to believe I was dealing directly with Vodacom.

On my cell phone, I had R350:00 minutes, 1 GIG of data and some sms’s from the last time I upgraded. Two modems – 1 with 1 GIG & 1 with 3 GIG for internet use with the laptop & computer.

After confirming with the lady who phoned me and her supervisor (male) that I would be paying less every month for my cell phone and the 2 data devices, I would be receiving the following • • On my cell phone I would go from R350:00 to R375:00 minutes and confirming I would still get my 1 GIG of data and sms’s. She said that they do not touch Value Added Services, so I would still have the 1 GIG of data and sms’s. All for less than I was presently paying. • • On the 1 GIG data modem it would go to 5 GIG. For less than I was presently paying. • • On the 3 GIG data modem it would go to 10 GIG. For less than I was presently paying.

During the conversation she also told me I had 14 days to cancel the upgrades.

When I asked when this upgrade would be activated from, she said that I should watch my air time and when I get the R375:00 of air time, that would then be the upgrade date. On the 1st Match I noticed that I now had R375:00 of airtime but no data. I thought it would still come through later in the day, but eventually phoned at 13:45pm to query my data.

After talking to virtually every department at 15:08pm, I instructed Aston in the cancellation department ( ********** ) Ref 1- ********** ********** to cancel all 3 upgrades and put me back on the package I was on, on the 1st February. This after being on the phone for nearly 1.5 hours.

I requested that Vodacom listen to the tapes and a gentleman phoned me to say my claim was null in void. When I asked him to listen to the tape he said he does not have access to the recordings.

On the 5th March I went to Vodacom Key West to request a recording of the conversation as I was told I could not request the recordings telephonically. Ref number 1- ********** ********** . To date I have no feedback.

This month I now have to go and buy my own data as I am waiting for the reversal back to the packages that I had at the beginning of February as per what I was told by the lady that I have 14 days to cancel the upgrade.
