Vodacom ********** Contract

On Saturday the 23rd of March,my tablet died.Since I was due for an upgrade,I went to Vodacom stores at Northgate, the last one being the one next to Mr Price. They both didn't have what I was looking for.The salesperson at the one next to Mr Price told me that there will be new ICASA rules as from April 2019 and maybe by then the deals on data will be better. Prior to that he said my profile could get me anything. So on Sunday the 24th I decided to try Nicolway Vodacom(Brayanston) for the device I was looking for. I was told that the number was upgraded around 14H15 at Vodacom Galleria mall KZN.I arrived there around 14H25. The lady who assisted me gave me the documents which helped me see the person who assisted the *********. I sent him a Facebook message and he called me that evening. He told me that: 1.The guy was spontaneous in giving the details. 2.He had an ID book. 3.AND THAT HE CONFIRMED THE OTP.

I called vodacom and tried to get assistance .All I know is that they said it is with their forensic dept. I have questions no one has answered me:

-Based on the fact that I didn't upgrade since 2016 is it not fishy to upgrade with two phones that cost almost R40K if not more?

-One of the salespersons took the guy's photo without him noticing. Why?

-I have my sim with me and the dead device. How did he confirm the OTP whilst being at the store without a swim swap? (I suspect an inside job).

-Why does Vodacom not train it's staff on recognising ********** ID's. In 2001,the ID's didn't have the current coat of arms.

-Being an ordinary employee, how easy is it to upgrade my contract in KZN with such expensive phones?A normal person would worry that should there be something wrong with the phone,KZN would be very far to get help.

Now I can't use my number!

Reviewer Update
So since Monday Morning I have been waiting for something favorable. If someone calls me to address an issue and 3 days later it is still not resolved and no contact whatsoever what purpose does it serve? I was told that someone from forensics should have been in contact with me. I am still waiting .So technically the best Vodacom can do is to stick to 2 weeks if they feel like it regardless of reasons and the client better pray that it takes 2 weeks and not more because others have told me Vodacom takes forever to resolve issues .
