Vodacom ********** calls from my cell number

More than a month ago A logged a query with Vodacom relating ********** calls made from my number to various numbers among them international calls to Zambie. It is however clear that trying to resolve an issue like this with Vodacom is like dealing with a faceless monster. The calls have now stopped because I did a sim swap on both my main number and a dual call number that is linked to my main number. Vodacom has still continued to deduct the bill at the end of the month and will again do so at the end of this month. my damages amounts to thousands of Rands.

They have shown no urgency to resolve the issue or assist me in any way. I mailed the ***** department and they requested a affidavit and a copy of my ID which I submitted. Not being able to talk to any person and not knowing if the issue is receiving attention has left me feeling helpless and frustrated. Last year my dad was a victim of sim swap (Vodacom) internet bank ***** and lost thousands of rands.

No Vodashop can assist and the call center simply loges another query that goes nowhere. The ***** department are simply not contactable.

Thank you for contacting me and resolving the issue. I still cannot help but think that if your standard support structures where more efficient customers would not have to resort to HelloPeter. A lot of large companies seem to use HelloPeter as their last line of "support" or complaints line. Most of these issues can be resolved by providing proper communication channels and empowering support services to actually be of service to the consumer.
