Vodacom ********** activity

In 2020 beginning of the year I signed a Vodacom month to month agreement for one of the WiFi promos. Which was 10 mbs for R349 . It only worked for two months and was then cut off. Which I understood as because I hadn’t paid for the month I used the WiFi for. However months later I kept receiving invoices for a WiFi service that was not even operating . I have called Vodacom multiple times and when I would visit the store and give them my account number at the stores I would be told that the account does not appear on their system. I have then since received a number of calls from Vodacom’s credit department claiming I owe them over R6000 . I’d explain my story and email the agreement that I signed which stated that it was a month to month agreement.

Every person I’d speak to would say they would get back to me or gave me a different email to mail my contract to as well as enquire for help and no one gets back to me.

I have no idea how they even processed a long term contract as I am unemployed and did not attach a proof of income or any pay slip.

This is ********** activity ! I am now being emailed letters of demand while no one has attended to my case or responds when I send a scanned document of the original agreement I signed. Please assist as I have exhausted all means and I have been patient with Vodacom for months.

I am being billed and bonded to a longboard term contract that I didn’t even agree to as well as the same service has been inactive for months .
