Vodacom **********

I went online to apply for a laptop. 17 July a lady named Kuraisha calls me to assist with this application I made online. She told me that my credit is not enough to allow me to get a laptop. So what she can do is offer me a contract that will build up my credit for three months, and after that three months if I feel like I no longer want to contract I may cancel my it. With excitement of wanting that laptop I asked her in three months will you call me back because I really want that laptop, she says yes. Three months comes and goes, I get a call from Elite Mobile offering me the same contract I wanted from Vodacom. I follow that procedure, answer all the questions, accept the t's and c's, the whole deal. After hanging up with them, I call Vodacom, because I no longer need that 3 month contract. As I'm holding to speak to one of the consultants, I hear that my contract is actually for 24 months. I'm shocked because that's not what Kuraisha had told me, at least that's how I remember it. I speak to a consultant in Cancellation and they tell me I should speak to online sales. They transfer me, but in a few seconds the call directs me by to rate the service. I call online, they transfer me to sales. This goes on for about two to three days with no one assisting me with this matter, and all the consultants telling me that there's no such thing as a 3 month build up contract. One team manager, Londi even said she sent a mail to Kuraiaha's manager to listen to the recordings and call me back with feedback. No one from Vodacom called me back. On the third day, Kuraisha calls me and gives me my feedback, but I tell her I what I've been through and how I was offered that laptop with Elite Mobile and how I don't need this contract any more and since it's three months I want to cancel it but Vodacom won't assist me with the cancelation because they say there's no such thing as a build up contract. Some consultants even laughed at me. She says she will take it up to her manager and ask her manager to process the cancelation for me. Three working days go by again and still no one calls me back. The following Monday I call back and go through this whole process all over again (being tossed from one department to another and no one is assisting me. The one lady even gave me confidence because as I was holding I got directed to rate the services AGAIN, but she called me back and it sounded like she was typing the full story of how I was deceived into believing that the contract being offered to me was for three months but now it seems I'm bound to this for 24 months which was not what I signed up for. She even said that within 24 to 72 hours they'll call me back. To date, no one has reached out to me to assist in this matter. The service from Vodacom is disappointing, and I'm even more disappointed that I was deceived into a contract I didn't ask for.
