Vodacom *****
Hi readers so my story is with vodacom.. My contract period was done and like vodacom does they moved it to a month to month. So my daughter phone broke and I had no use for the R50 contract my 5year old was playing tik toks with.. Anyway on 30 August I phone customer care just to get the surprise of my life. My R50 contract has been upgraded to a iPhone 11.. Ms Matshdiso the consultant who handled the call *** informed me that this happened in vodacom repair shop umtata and I'm in Capetown western cape.. On 01 September I went to vodacom cape gate to see what I can do about this upgrade there the consultant was shocked to see the person whos pictures appeared on my ID was not me it was a black African male and I'm an coloured male... I went to the police station laid a charge of identity theft with all the documents vodacom supp**** including my ID copy.. I then sent a mail to vodacom ***** department and they got back to me saying I need to send an recent copy of my ID plus 3 signatures... I sent them an affidavit with the copies everything they asked for on the second of September 2020... Today the 21st September I am still waiting feedback from vodacom on an account I'm not going to pay.... Here's why: none of the papers for the contract was signed, the ID copies used was scanned in nd copied, the copy used was the one I used in 2007 with my first contract with vodacom, Mr Mbubes the sales man did not do instore activation as I have the Sim,18 July 2020 when upgrade was done it was still lockdown... So vodacom and their personnel are the ones doing this.... And they are the first people to go and blacklist people for not paying accounts that is long gone... So how does it take someone practically a month to contact them on an identity theft that comes from their store...
