Vodacom *****

Vodacom has employed ****s and the company perpetuates their ****gery. 2 years back an agent at Vodacom upgraded my data contract without my knowledge. I only picked up the transaction when the term of my contract, that I knew, came to an end and I wanted to terminate the said contract. They refused to terminate, saying that I had already upgraded. I was made to go through red tape to get the voice recording for the conversation where it's purported that I renewed my contract. They frustrated me to an extent that I was rendered powerless and decided to relent and let that contract run it's term.

Yesterday I called in querying the information I was getting on my vodacom app. To my shock, the same story again. Some agent upgraded my contract and worse, they have changed my plan to a lower plan that's useless for my application. Yesterday, the agent that I spoke to, Mendy/Mandy at the retentions department, promised that she'll send an email to the person that did the upgrade, requesting them to cancel that upgrade. I asked that I be copied in that email, but up to now nothing has come through, nor a call from the agent concerned.

Earlier this morning I called in at ********** , spoke to an agent called Nelly Matlhafunya/Mahlafunya. She was telling me about their red tape exercise again and I refused to go through that again, because one never wins with them. I demanded to speak to her senior. She put me on hold for an extended period of time, when she eventually returned she told me that her senior, Kidi Mogabo, was busy with another "case escalation" and that she would call me back. That was at 9:48, now it's 12:27 and no one has called me back.

These people take devices in our names and we are left with endless contracts to pay for their *****.

Please assist me with the channels to follow in reporting their conduct to the relevant authorities/regulators?

No one from Vodacom has called to this end. Instead i'm receiving texts congratulating and welcoming me on my new contract. What can I do to terminate my relationship with Vodacom?

Contact was indeed made, but the upgrade is still active. Nothing has changed. I asked the "back office agent" that called me yesterday to send me the confirmation of the cancellation, once it is done, but to this end nothing has come through. My vodacom app still shows that I'm on the upgraded plan.
