Vodacom *****

1. On 1 Dec 2017 my Vodacom business phone was **********ly upgraded and in the process, daily subscription services appeared on my account. Upon investigation Vodacom confirmed it was *****. Our business requested details to open an SAPS ******** case. To date - ca. 5 mths later - this request has been ignored. 2. In Feb/Mar 2018 my private Vodacom account was also **********ly upgraded (4 lines). A R900/mth account now became a +R4,000/m account. Again, daily subscription services were loaded on some of the lines. And again, Vodacom confirmed it was *****. Needless to say, I am still waiting for the information (due from inspector feedback) to open a SAPS ******** case. 3. Meantime, those agents that I could talk to (and there were many calls) confirmed that my account will be credited and all will be resolved. Now I am waiting. 4. Yet, regarding assistance from a person in charge to build my case is quite impossible. Numbers supp**** to contact Forensics do not function and the business is a behemoth with no synergistic connectivity. 1. My observation is simply this. Does this attitude by Vodacom simply confirm the view that Vodacom condone and perhaps even `support' such `in-house' activities (the mere processes whereby upgrades can be done suggest this) by own employees or outsourced agents who are responsible for these acts. Why not - it is a nice boost to Vodacom's revenue in a way that demands tremendous effort from a customer to resolve. Most customers just give up and move on – only to find that the grass is not greener the other side.
