Vodacom *****!

I have a contract with Vodacom for a laptop and the contract ends in February 2018. I only have this one contract with Vodacom. The past month I was billed double my debit order amount and when I called customer care to find out why I was told that it was for the "contracts" I had taken out??? I was shocked to say the least and explained that I never took any other contracts out! When I asked about the ***** contracts I was told that it was done online and they decided were delivered to someone in Bryanston???? I live in Durban!! When I asked how a device could be delivered if I didn't produce my ID copy and sign for it they couldn't answer me!!!! Then I was told that I needed to get an affidavit and report this to the ***** dispute department at Vodacom but I was told it takes a LONG time to resolve??? So in the meantime I lost money and someone out there is using my details to take out contracts and Vodacom couldn't care less! I have called customer care numerous times and even went to the store in Ballito Junction but to date I haven't heard from anyone at Vodacom!! When this initially happened I went to the store in gateway and the consultant told me that because the line wasn't activated they would put a stop on the contract!! That obviously didn't happen! So does Vodacom think we are fools that they can lie to us and allow ********** activity to continue so they can make sales???? I have the affidavit and I sent this with my ID and signature samples to ***** disputes but no one has been called me yet!! So Vodacom couldn't care less that there are ********** *****ing peoples identities and taking out contracts. Or does Vodacom jus look at making sales it doesn't matter how they happen!!! This cannot be right to show such utter disregard for such an urgent matter!! ***** is a serious offence and I have the local police trying to help me but Vodacom hasn't had the decency to even call me about this!!! How does one put a stop to this!! I have cancelled the debit order at my bank and when I told Vodacom I had to do this because my bank details have been compromised, the only response I get is that I will get black listed if the account isn't paid!! I am beyond despair! Vodacom has to put a stop to those ********** contracts! How could they let something like this happen? What security measures do they have to protect clients details which are sensitive and confidential?? I need this sorted out Vodacom!!!!

So after this post I received one email asking for a reference for the complaint logged with Vodacom about the ********** activity on my account which I provided all information but to date I haven't heard back from anyone!! Is this matter not serious enough to deserve more attention from Vodacom???
