Vodacom Forcing people to take out expensive deals

I have been a Vodacom customer for more than 7 years and had about more than 4 contract with them 1 ended in August and the outstanding one is ending this December.

3 months ago de was an attempt to do a sim swap on my Vodacom line after I realised it I immediately contacted Vodacom and they said they will flag my account and if I want to do a sim swap I have to do it instore. I was fine with it ( Sim Swap only). I wanted to do an upgrade and I was told I have to do an upgrade instore. Was still fine with it.

I saw a phone deal at game stores with Vodacom and I went to apply for that phone and when they punched my ID number it showed that there's a flag on my ID number and they won't be able to assist I have to go to Vodashop. I went to Vodashop with all my documents and informed them that I would like to take out a contract phone with Vodacom at game and it shows that my ID was flagged and I would like the flagging to be removed so that I buy the phone, I was informed that they only remove the flagging if I buy the phone in their store only. I was so ****ed then because their phone deals were higher compared to the Vodacom at game deals. Same day I checked for a better deal online ( Vodacom). and the was a deal I'm interested in and it's only exclusive online. I went again today to a Vodacom store with all my documents and showed them the deal I'm interested in and request them to positively identify me and have the flagging removed so that I can apply for that amazing online deal as they don't have it instore. And I was informed that I can only buy instore which has deals that are more expensive.

I feel like Vodacom is robbing me by forcing me to buy expensive phones instore compared to less deals online and other stores.

I was never informed that the flagging wouldn't restrict me on taking out a phone contract in future.

I would like assistants in having this flagging removed on my name before the 08th September because the deals my interest in are ending on the 08th.
