Vodacom... For A communication company they dont know how to communicate.

So When a person passes away it is not expected. No one ever expects Death.

Vodacom has not made this process any easier. Two numbers were on a month to month contract and we requested vodacom to convert it to prepaid. We were told we cannot do it as the account owes R2800. This amount was from the 3rd contract that was still an ongoing contract with 10 months to go.

The more we tried to explain that the court is still busy with the executorship and the contract will be paid in full when the estate is sorted out the more they did not want to know anything.

The first amount we were given was R2361.31 and then all of a sudden the next email they said R2960. Then they siai we need to pay R1530 to open the accounts. Had had enough and escalated this to the CEO. This even seems useless as they took 5 days to get back to me to say they will investigate. 4 days later still no response and then decided to send a reminder. Another 4 days passed without any feedback. Sent another reminder. Got a response saying they told me to pay R2861. So no one even know the exact amount that was needed to pay as 4 different people gave me different amounts. When calling the call center they cannot help. When wanting to escalate the call you need to give a number. Cannot give a number because the number is blocked. How *********** can any company be???

To get our numbers they insisted we pay the amount. Almost after 1 month of not having a phone we eventually had no choice but to pay it. Why did we have to pay for March if we didnt have any access to our phones anyway???

Paid it on Thursday and our phones are still blocked. I wonder what there excuse is now???

Cant wait for my phone to be unblocked to port my phone account to a different cellcular company because not having a phone is better than trying to communicate with Vodacom.

Will be telling everyone I meet to not go with Vodacom. They the worse of the worse!!!
