VODACOM FOOLS! 😡😡😡😡😡

I took over a contract from my company after I left. There were still a few months left on it and the amount was debited from my account until September 2021. I chose not to upgrade and went into a branch where I chose to keep the number but move it over to prepaid. A while later I receive a message to say the account is in arrears. There was nothing owing. Vodacom then handed the account over to MBD collections. The amount they said was owed was R67.70. Then when I checked my credit score it showed me being handed over and the amount owing was R555.00.

Called Vodacom and this collection people. Vodacom said they forgot to cancel the contract on their side. Its been an issue with them. They will sort it out. I called MBD and they said the notice of collection was removed and they would send a letter to clear any previous arrears as its affecting his credit rating. Vodacom said they would send a letter as well stating I never owed anything and the fault is with them. We have recieved no emails. The record shows that I am in months of arrears on this stupid account. Creditors look at this and it reflects badly. Tried calling the customer service again, the call drops. I don't want to speak to Tobi the Bot. I want one person, a name, with a direct line and direct email who I can speak to. This is pathetic. We will never support Vodacom again.
