Vodacom/ Finrite Insurance is a waist of money

I have been insuring my Iphone 11 pro with Vodacom Comprehensive Device Insurance for almost 3 years. Recently my phone started giving problems like getting overheated, glitches in apps. Watsapp screen freezes and all sorts of problems. I Have been paying R379 per month for 3 years. So I take my phone in to Vodacom and they send it in for insurance to fix it. They denied the claim saying that it doesnt look like there is any physical damage to the phone. But they did pick up some faults that will cost me over R2000 to fix. My question is this why are there problems with the phone if it is not due to damage?? I have kids that are on my phone constantly and dropping or messing on it. The fact that I have a protective screen on my phone doesn't mean it is not damaged. I am very disappointed that I have been insuring my phone for this reason and Vodacom and Finrite is not coming to the party. Do not use their insurance.
