VODACOM FIBRE - WHAT FIBRE???????

I lost fibre connection on 27 January 2025 round about 12h00. Apparently the turn around time for a service request to be allocated is 24/48/72 hours, depending on who you speak to at the contact center. On 30 January 2025 Vodacom contacted me and an arrangement was made for a technician to come out on Friday 31 January 2025 at 15h00. The technician did not arrive and did not contact me to make an alternative arrangement. On 30 January 2025 I escalated the matter to and "CEO" e-mail and on 3 February 2025 I all of sudden received telephone calls. The technician could not come out on 30 Jan as he "he was far from me and it was getting late". Eventually the technician arrived on 4 February at 10:50 (he was 10 minutes early). Note he could not come earlier than 11h00 as he staying in JHB and there is lots of traffic to PTA. After being without connection for almost 8-days I was over the moon to have internet connection (I am working from home). Guess what, on FRIDAY 7 February 2025 at 11h00 woops, internet down again. This time round a service request could not be locked as their system was down. Service request was locked at 12h55. What does this mean for me??? ANOTHER 5 DAYS OR MORE WITHOUT FIBRE CONNECTION. Debit order went of promptly on 5 February 2025 and they are increasing the price of the fibre package I am. Ironically Vodacom never have issues with their debit order system, if my debit order rejects what will Vodacom do? Vodacom is fibre provider in my complex (monopoly) therefore if I want fibre Vodacom it must be. Vodacom's refund on downtime policy is inadequate as it does remotely cover my additional expenses such cell phone data for work purposes during downtime. For 5 days down time in November 2024 the "refund" is R160, wow. I do not have words to describe how frustrated I am. AGAIN I am left at the mercy of a big corporate to fix their fibre lines, a service I pay for. But Vodacom could not care less.
