Vodacom fibre the worst service having to pay for an encrypted router

As I have not as yet received a response from vodacom fibre I am reposting my review: Vodacom advertises a free router for vodacom fibre, but when invoiced though it states router is leased. However, dare to cancel, then you must pay for the router. I received an email from Vodacom FTTH enquiries billing me as follows: The R276.30 EXCL VAT is for the router and the R375.00 EXCL VAT is the clawback for the installation. I paid R1010 for installation as with Vodacom this not free as is the case with other ISP's (where clawback costs are justfied) so for what installation??? The router is advertised as free so why had I to pay this amount for the router?? To top it all....the router is non returnable (leased as indicated on the statement meaning it must be returned after terminating the contract). Adding injury to insult....you cannot use the router as it has been encrypted by vodacom for exclusive vodacom fibre usage, as confirmed by a vodacom consultant today after speaking with a vodacom technician, making the router absolutely useless. The consultant, after making him aware of the facts above and telling him that I will have to publish another negative review against vodacom to address this matter, said he would escalate the matter. Further, I had to wait more than a month, after cancellation, for vodacom to release the line (after a Hello Peter review) in order for my preferred and new ISP to activate the ONT.
