Vodacom Fibre Sucks, Pathetic customer Service.
My vodacom Fibre stopped working 7pm Wednesday 26 April 2023, we reside in Durban central and i called into their Fibre call center and was told it's was an area outage, Thursday called in again this time told it's a fault with my line and would be resolved with 48 hours and it was escalated , come Friday called again and told nothing resolved matter escalated to manager who would call me back same day and matter referred to 2nd line to confirm reason for fault.
No call from manager , no feedback, it's now Saturday, 4 days without Fibre and when I call in they now have no feedback, and must wait 72 hours, they do not work weekend and they must now escalate to some 3rd party because vodacom could not care less if it's customers go without service. I am told to hold on line while he checks if technicians are working weekend and then agent drops my call and could not bother calling me back.
I will now have to call them again on Monday 30 April, 6 days without Fibre and I probably get the same jackass excuses.
Vodacom you are a complete pathetic excuse for an internet service provider, your staff tell lies to customers on your instructions, you have a pathetic work ethic or customer service ethos.
Gladly take our money, I pay R1000 a month for Fibre and the ****** thing does does not work,
I actually cannot wait for regional service providers like 123net to come to our area, I would even pay more for reliable service.
Sending Generic replies with nothing of substance in terms of providing actual customer support does not cut it any more.
Service remains pathetic and non existent. My business must stop operating because you and your staff are to busy on holiday for long weekend to actually provider service.

Being a major communication organization you like many other giants tend to fall hard when customers are given better choices with superior customer experience and service from new players in the market, unfortunstely customers only loyalty is to superior customer experience, which Vodacom has miserably failed at.
I expect to be compensated for not just poor service and massive inconvenience , but failure to provide services for which I pay in full every month as well as additional cost to my entire family that now has to purchase pre-paid data at exorbitant unnecessary cost over and above what I pay for Fibre.
I think it might be worth while to ask my son to create a youtube special or customer complaint channel on Vodacom customer experience, hes remarkable at these things. I think South Africans would get a kick out of it.
I do jot pay for excuses or care for it.

I spoke to Fibre consultant and only notes on system state matter handed to Nokia, who apparently is the 3rd party which Vodacom has outsourced all it's Fibre support.
On system it says Nokia called me and emailed me, so I check my email including spam and check my call logs, surprise surprise no call or email.
Apparently vodacom the left hand and Nokia the right hand are not allowed to speak or call each other except for messaging service, ask vodacom operator to call Nokia apparently that is not allowed.
So vodacom dumps all complaints on Nokia, who in my option are the true owners of vodacom and they sit on their backside and ignores the customer and vodacom washes their hands with customer complaints.
What a **** they run, and customers actually believe dealing directly with vodacom will get you best service, what a **** web they weave.
Anyway I ask for a manger, I am told manager Mr Suka is busy with another escalation, it's 9 29am and when asked when I could expect his calm back, it's going to be around 4pm, so when he finds the time he's going to contact Nokia just to find out what is the problem with my Fibre, not going to ask why it's not fixed,
And now consultant messsges Nokia, not calls them, to get them to respond to me on why my Fibre is down for 7 days.
Unbelievable how we as South Africans get taken for a ride by company's like Vodacom, as indicate before I believe this entire pathetic failed customer service **** need to be exposed.

After reading reviews on Facebook and Mybroadband reviews on deterioration of Vodacom to provide any form of customer service, they actually rank below Rain, last in a long list of ISP. I officially lost all hope in receiving any competent service.
Zoom fibre seems much more appealing, also other ISP provided charge far less than Vodacom for some Vodacom pathetic service,

This unfortunately is just bad service, in such a competative environment with many option available to me as a customer why should I stay with vodacom, when the next time this happens I could expect the same frustration and inconvenience.
Please arrange refund/compensation for following days Fibre stopped 26 may at 7pm and restored 4th may at 4pm
Please.email me confirmation and amount deducted for non service days.
