Vodacom Fibre service - a big Mess

My fibre line went down last Friday around 04:00 AM, I called Vodacom around 09:00 AM, the tried to a quick fault finding remotely and it was deduced that the router is faulty thus there is need for a technician to come out. I was then given a reference number. The following day (Saturday), Vodacom called and ask to do another fault finding remotely and again promised to send a technician. This morning (Monday), I phoned them and was told the same story so am wandering what's happening at Vodacom and their contractor TT Connect. It's 4 days now without internet, going into the 5th day, no technician has come out - no indication as to when he will do so and no one seems to care.

Am still disappointed because it has taken you about 5 days to fix my problem. It didn't take the technician more than 20 min to do his job - However, Kudos to to Nico and his team.
Treat every case as an emergency so that you can dispatch your service swiftly even if it's on a weekend.

The same problem has occured. My fibre line went down again on Tuesday 13/06/2024 and Vodacom Fibre was notified the same day. So it's been 2 days now and no technician has come out, no action has taken place yet they claim to have a 24 - 48 hrs turn around. It happened again less than a month ago. Is this going to be the trend? Shame on you Vodacom, can't you find a permanent solution?
