Vodacom Fibre - Rogue

Good day,

I signed up for a Vodacom Fibre package in December with agents that came to my home was a month to month deal and was said I can cancel at any time they never explained there was any claw backs or the terms and conditions was not presented at the time of sale.

When I requested a cancelation I was sent a quote which I rejected I received a call 2 months ago from Janine Mgwayi who said she will discuss the matter with her manager and get back to me. I kept on calling and mailing and left messages for Janine to call me back and a month later no such luck.

Vodcom is still billing me and I have submitted my 30 calendar notice. They even tried to debt my bank account today. Please be very careful they even sent me the signed documents which I did sign and says I understand and acknowledge the terms and conditions which is not on the page and was not explained by the sales agent.

I have also referred the matter to the National Consumer Commission, awaiting feedback from them with regards to the above and have another witness in the area who was offered the same package who will provide a sworn affidavit that the sales staff did not explain the terms and conditions and advise that it can be canceled at any time.

Please be very careful Vodacom is desperate for money in a time our economy can not afford underhanded rogues as such and under handed deals they say there terms and conditions are online but that was never explained during the sale. THey clearly don' know the CPA and how it protects the consumers from such undetailed terms and conditions a copy needs to be explained to the consumer to such an extent that the consumer understands the T&Cs.

There are much better service providers out there that HIDE nothing. So before you sign anything or accept anything from Vodacom please make sure you look at another service provider with a better deal.

Thanks

Reviewer Update
Good day,

Please note that vodacom has still failed to contact me in regards to this issue.

Further more I am now being harassed by there collectio department. If an account is pending a investigation ? should the account not be frozen until concluded.

Sorry the above only works in a logical company...

So I have had no feed back but with regards to you want your money.

Thats what I call sufficient when it suits you and not the consumer.

Kind regards,
