Vodacom Fibre *******
Vodacom is the owner of the fibre network to my home. Of 18 ISPs listed on FibreTiger, not one is shown as partnered with Vodacom... I'm told because they simply can't afford to. On Vumatel fibre, Vodacom as ISP charges R1,200 pm for 50/50 uncapped. On its own Vodacom fibre, Vodacom as ISP charges R1,600 pm for same. Little wonder that only around 15% of residents in my fairly affluent estate have switched to fibre in 15 months.
