Vodacom Fibre Relocation – Same Nightmare All Over Again

I am extremely disappointed and exhausted by Vodacom Fibre’s handling of my relocation request.

I logged a Move with Vodacom Fibre at the beginning of the month and only received a call back yesterday. I am now being told that my relocation was only logged yesterday and that my fibre at the new address will only be activated on 1 March, yet I will be billed for both February and March without having internet service during this time. I am expected to pay twice, for a service I am not receiving. This makes absolutely no sense. Furthermore they suggest priority installation which is also double money? This now feels like this bad customer service is intentional and another way to make profit for them because why am I paying for someone's else mistakes? You make a mistake on your side and you then tell me as a customer that I need to pay in order for the mistake you made to be corrected? Make it make sense??

The consultant who contacted me yesterday struggled to find the relocation address, even though I was viewing it on the Vodacom website during the call. She said she would call me back but never did. Instead, I received an email stating, “Vodacom: Service Request SR*** status has been changed to ‘Open’.” When I followed up today, I was told that I was supposed to approve something via email, yet there is no approval email on my side, only the “Open status” notification.

What makes this even more frustrating is that my previous relocation with Vodacom Fibre was also a nightmare. It dragged on for MONTHS whilst I did everything right on my side and after countless complains Vodacom refunded me and installed the internet. That refund was honestly the only reason I stayed with Vodacom, believing the issue was a once-off. I cannot believe I am being put through the same stress and inconvenience again.

Vodacom made mistakes on their side, delayed the process, and failed to communicate properly, yet I am now expected to pay out of my own pocket for those errors. This lack of accountability, poor service, and constant back-and-forth is unacceptable. I am beyond tired of dealing with this and expect this issue to be resolved urgently and fairly.
