Vodacom Fibre Processes and Customer Service terrible
I app**** for a relocation in July and Vodacom cut off my internet connection the next day which they did not advise me on. I waited for about 5 days until it was reconnected and every call centre agent you speak to do not know their process.
I then advised Vodacom that I wanted the relocation cancelled soon after as I wasnt ready to move and i was seeking an alternative service provider. I was assured that it was but it actually wasn't as my internet connection at my current address was cut off again due to this and installed at the address that I was not living at. It's been more than a week and after speaking to a few call center agents, still nothing but I have been educated on their processes better than their own employees on a process that makes absolutely no sense. There has been a gentleman who has been helping me and assisting me for 2 days now so am holding my breath until I see that internet connection light not flash continuously on the box.
The service received is insanely bad and not sure how the turn around times to resolve issues take so long, yet the highly frustrated customer is still paying for the service! I have been cut off twice within a space of 1 month.
I would not recommend using Vodacom Fibre to anyone as there are many service providers out there that will provide a much better service despite being a small company.
But the cancellation of the connection at the property we don't currently reside at is still running and apparently we have to wait 1 calendar month before it can be cancelled. This relocation was cancelled a while ago and we did not want to pursue the fibre service with Vodacom due to the bad service received. Yet only after a 2nd call to you guys was it logged and then too the consultant told me we had to wait so long. Now when we follow up I have been advised that the system will not allow for the cancellation to be expedited? So systems control Vodacom and no human intervention is allowed which leads to bad customer service.

Also how do none of the consultants explain the relocation or cancellation processes properly??
