Vodacom Fibre: pathetic service
On August 4, I placed an order for Vodacom Fibre. I believe Vodacom processed the order, that would have been installed within "7-14 business days", on August 5.
Openserve initially arrived at my complex on August 11, only to discover that Vodacom had, for some reason, provided them with the wrong unit number. So, they left to go and change the unit number on their records, but they promised to be back by the end of that week...
Today is August 28, and I still have not been contacted again regarding the installation. What is going on?
I have just had a look at my call history on my phone - I have spent a total of almost three hours on phone calls to the Vodacom Fibre department this month. First to sort out the interim LTE, and then to follow up regarding the fibre installation. I have also sent one or two emails this week. Yet, I have still not received the product I ordered. Lately, the company line seems to be "We apologise for the inconvenience".
(How about using that in your advertising campaigns? "VODACOM - We apologise for the inconvenience!")
Apologising for the inconvenience does not solve the problem, nor does it deliver the expected service.
Please solve this matter!
If it does not get resolved by July 31, Vodacom should give me a second month of FREE LTE.
Please respond via email.
