Vodacom Fibre not Working

On 15 January 2022 my father reported that our router for our fibre internet is no longer working Chad from the call centre assisted him and opened up a ticket for our problem and informed him that a technician should be at our house no later than that Thursday or Friday (19th or 20th) on the 18th my dad received an sms notification that a field technician has been dispatched but up to date no one was at the residence to replace the router, my dad also has not received ANY FURTHER COMMUNICATION from vodacom whatsover, no phone call, no sms, no email NOTHING.

Every time my dad has to send an email to inform Vodacom that there has been no progress whatsoever, Chad however has escalated the issue many times to his manager but we have not heard anything from his manager. According to Chad there has been no movement on our service request whatsover since it's been reported.

How long is it going to take to sort out an issue like this?

Month end is near and the 1st thing Vodacom will do is debit the premium and now we will be paying for a service that we are not able to use. Now my question is will we be reimbursed for the time we are without internet?

The lack of communication and the delay in service to replace a router is shocking

This is extremely poor service from Vodacom.

Currently I have to hotspot from my phone as I'm working from home for a few weeks we are relaint on internet just like any business is.

If this was a company that experienced this issue it would have been sorted out a long time ago.

Vodacom please come in contact with my dad as the contract is in his name Lastly I do want to thank Chad trying his utmost best to try and resolve the issue from his side but his hands are also tied at this point, clearly escalating the issue is not helping at all
