Vodacom fibre ****mers

My fibre contract was up with Vodacom and I had found a better deal with Mweb. After calling to cancel, Vodacom agreed to match the premium and speed Mweb was offering which meant upgrading from 50mbps to 100. As a result I agreed to renew my contract with Vodacom. Ever since then I have had poorer network that I’ve had prior to the upgrade with download speed only going up to 30 mbps.

After numerous calls to Vodacom call centre and no help- I get told there are no reference numbers for the calls and an electrician will be in touch in “48 hours”. I have been calling from 1 Oct atleast 3 times a week and to date no electrician has contacted me.

In addition to the slow speed, I lose connectivity in totality atleast twice a week. When calling Vodacom to not that the service is down and that I should not be billed for service I haven’t received they tell me the line is active on their end when I literally can see I don’t have connection.

When asking to speak to a manager the lady had no customer service skills and told me if I’m not happy with their service I must send an email.

I am now trying to cancel the service as I am not getting what I was promised or what I am paying for. They have said I can cancel but will still be liable to pay for the contract as it is 12 months even though I am not receiving the connection or speed I signed up for.
