Vodacom Fibre is THE WORST

STAY AWAY from Vodacom Fibre. They have given me the worst customer service experience when I tried to upgrade my fibre line speed. IMAGINE - I was trying to give them more money and they treated me like garbage. Vodacom Fibre might be the worst fibre company. Do not take their fibre.

This is disappointing. A Vodacom technician called me yesterday morning to fix the issue. He could not fix it (the download speed is still on 20mbps instead of 75MBPS). He told me he would call me back shortly. He NEVER called me back. I've had to run after both Vodacom and Metrofibre (Metrofibre says they cannot do anything until Vodacom opens a ticket with them - I asked Vodacom to open a ticket, but I'm not being assisted either over the phone or online chat or email). I asked them to cancel the fibre package if they cannot assist me. Emily, a Vodacom employee, refused to cancel the package. If my issue is not resolved today I will be seeking legal counsel. This is unacceptable from a such a big company. Zero empathy and zero service resolution once Vodacom have taken their first debit order from a customer.

Yesterday I was told that my fibre line has been successfully changed from 20/20 to 75/75. Today I called Vodacom again (because I have to run after Vodacom because days can go by without Vodacom providing updates. And every time I call in to enquire, they start the process from scratch). Today I'm told that the fibre line has not been changed and that I must first sign an emailed quote. But I was already told this TWO WEEKS AGO. Two weeks later, I still have not been sent a quote. Vodacom has confirmed my email address EVERY SINGLE TIME I call them (over 50 times in the past two weeks) but they still do not send the quote and instead mislead me yesterday by telling me that the fibre line has been changed to 75/75.

So what is it Vodacom? Has my fibre line been upgraded to 75/75, yes or no? And if not, why are you refusing to cancel the debit order? Why did you reconfirm my banking details last week (meaning I will be now charged the new price) when I'm still stuck on a lower plan? Are you going to debit my account with a new higher price whilst still providing me horrible service on a cheaper plan?
