Vodacom Fibre is terrible
I do not even know where to start. I ordered Vodacom fibre to be installed at my daughter's flat in Port Elizabeth. The sales order was done on 21 August. In September they mailed me and said the company who was in charge of the installation could not do it anymore. I had to take out a new, more expensive contract, which I did. The contact was approved again, but the first service order was not canceled. The router that was sent could not connect, as it needed ro be activated. After numerous calls it was not done. I went to VodacomChatz in Northridge Mall for help. They phoned fibre installations and sent mails to lodge my complaints. Thank you for their help, as they tried their level best to assist me. Again everything was to no avail. It has been since September that I waited to hear from the company to install the fibre, but they also did not contact me yet.
I phoned again on 20 October, because Vodacom Fibre subtracted a substantial amount of my bank account for services i have not recieved. I lodged a complaint about the money. I was promised to get feedback within 48 hours. I aslo staded that I want to cancel the contract. Again they told me the matter will be resolved in 48 hours. I am still waiting.
On 29 October I made another phonecall of 90 minutes. The lady told me she will try to get an answer. She said she will phone me back. I am still waiting.
I phoned back again today, but I was adviced the process takes 30 days. Ihave to phone the billing department, which I had. They just went onto voicemail.
Please do not make use of Vodacom Fibre. They are terrible. After 42 phone calls I am tired.
